Q. How much does it cost to book the Winter Graces?
The Winter Graces have a standard booking fee of $150, plus a flat rate per-Grace per-hour, depending on day of the week and time of day. You can find our complete pricing schedule on our online booking & quote page, but here are some examples:
- Three (3) Graces for one hour during the day on a weekday would be just $345.
- Three (3) Graces for two hours on a weekend evening would be $660.

Q. Do you wear costumes, like Victorian / "Dickens" carolers?
Our Graces perform in warm winter sartorial, in whites, silvers, blues, teals, and similar hues. As of 2016, our company does not offer Victorian or Dickensian carolers. If the Graces or any of our other professional ensembles are not what you need, and if your event absolutely calls for a Dickensian look, we personally recommend the Dickens Victorian Carollers for any events requiring costumed carolers. This elegant group has been around for three decades and has performed for four Presidential administrations at the White House as well as other extraordinary events. The Dickens Victorian Carollers are not associated with New York Holiday Singers, Inc. in any way, but our New York Holdiay Singers performed with them on The Rachael Ray Show and have spoken with their director multiple times since. We think they have impressive music and presentation.
Q. Can you sing songs that aren't too "Christmas-y"?
This is one of our most common requests — music that leans more towards the secular holiday selections or a general winter theme. Our repertoire contains a variety of sacred, secular, and winter-themed selections, and we can certainly tailor the set list towards your event and your guests.
Q. Do you have other styles of clothes you can wear, or do you wear branded attire?
The Winter Graces offer either a casual, sartorial teal, silver, and grey winter look, or we can dress on the more formal side if the event calls for it. Our Graces wear matching handmade marled blue & teal scarves with all of our looks. If you'd like a specific look or accessory (such as Santa hats or specific colors), or are a company wishing for us to wear branded attire, please let us know in advance so we can coordinate with you and our Graces.
Q. How far do you travel?
We are based in New York City, so travel to locations accessible by MTA subways & buses is included. There is a small surcharge for our travel time if it will take us over an hour to get to your location from midtown Manhattan. Outside of the Manhattan, Western Queens & Brooklyn, and parts of the Bronx, there may be additional travel fees to cover our time, such as the cost of car rental or train fare. Lodging costs may be applicable outside of the tristate area. Contact us for more information regarding travel and your budget.
Q. Do the Graces perform memorized?
Certainly! The Graces begin the rehearsal process in September to perfect & memorize their heartwarming music, and to work on performance skills. Our music is both dynamic and musically complex, so we perform with small mini binders that hold information such as our set list for your event, the starting pitches for each song, lyrics, and other notes. We remain focused on engaging with both the audience and each other and use the binders only for reference purposes.

Absolutely — we can certainly do either or both!
